Morgan, Stephanie

Dr. Stephanie Morgan completed her Bachelor of Science (Molecular Biology, 2004) and her Ph.D (Cellular and Molecular Pathology, 2013) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Stephanie received a T32 post-doctoral training fellowship from the UW-Madison Vascular Surgery Division for her research focused on the integration of vascular biology and biomedical engineering to explore how aging and vascular stiffening may alter the susceptibility of arteries to aneurysm formation (2013-2015).
Dr. Morgan joined the Center for Interdisciplinary Cardiovascular Sciences in 2015. Her current research interests include the role of iron balance in macrophage functionality in the setting of vascular disease and the role of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptors in macrophage function.
