Nogueira Nobrega, Gustavo
Gustavo is a MD candidate at University of Sao Paulo, Brazil, who joined CICS in April 2025 to investigate the role of macrophage in cardiovascular disease under the mentorship of Prof. Aikawa.
Before attending medical school, Gustavo obtained his Bachelor of Engineering in 2011 from the Military Institute of Engineering in Brazil. Following graduation, Gustavo worked at Oil&Gas and Financial sectors, where he built Oil&Gas offshore platforms for Petrobras, and developed Data Analysis tools & Backend software for wire transfers at Santander Bank.
