Kuraoka, Shiori
Shiori Kuraoka completed her master’s degree in the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences at University of Shizuoka in 2013. She joined Xenobiotics Department of ADME Group at Tokyo New Drug Research Laboratories in Kowa Company. She is involved in various drug development projects from basic research to clinical trials, and evaluating pharmacokinetics properties of drug candidates.
Ms. Kuraoka joined Center for Interdisciplinary Cardiovascular Sciences in 2019 as a research fellow in Dr. Sasha Singh’s Proteomics Group. She is performing mass spectrometry based proteomics/metabolomics studies in collaboration with CICS scientists. Also, she has been developing benchtop-to-informatic proteomics/metabolomics workflow for therapeutic target discovery.
